Effective date: October 19, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms describe the rules for using the Women in Business & Education by Synoro website and applying for or attending the event organized by Synoro Academy LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read these terms before submitting an application. The application form will ask you to acknowledge and agree to the applicable terms.

Questions may be sent to hello@synoro.ai.

2. Event information

The event is currently scheduled for:

Women in Business & Education by Synoro
November 21, 2026
David Rubenstein Forum, University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois

Current timing, access instructions, and other logistics will be provided on the website or in attendee communications.

The program, speakers, schedule, and venue arrangements may change.

3. Applications and invitations

Attendance is free and subject to application review, capacity, and an invitation from the organizer.

Submitting an application:

  • Does not guarantee admission.
  • Does not reserve a seat.
  • Does not constitute a confirmed invitation.

We may consider applicants’ interests, experiences, relevance to the program, and available capacity when reviewing applications, subject to applicable law.

You must provide accurate information and apply on your own behalf unless authorized to assist someone else. Do not impersonate another person or submit misleading information.

We may request clarification, operate a waitlist, or require confirmation by a stated deadline.

4. Confirming and using an invitation

Invitations are intended for the named recipient. Please obtain our approval before transferring an invitation or bringing an additional guest.

We may request confirmation details at check-in to verify an invitation.

If you can no longer attend, please notify us promptly so we can offer the place to another applicant.

We may decline or withdraw participation for material misrepresentation, failure to meet clearly stated participation requirements, or conduct that threatens event safety or disrupts the event, subject to applicable law.

5. Costs and travel

Admission is free unless a separately identified optional activity states otherwise.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, parking, accommodation, and other personal expenses unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

An invitation does not include travel funding or reimbursement.

6. Program changes or cancellation

We may adjust the program, substitute speakers, change timing, postpone, relocate, or cancel the event when reasonably necessary.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the website or the contact details provided by applicants.

Please consider the possibility of changes before making nonrefundable travel arrangements. We do not promise reimbursement of personal travel or accommodation expenses unless expressly agreed in writing or required by law.

7. Respectful participation

We ask everyone to contribute to a welcoming, professional environment.

Attendees must:

  • Treat other participants, speakers, staff, and venue personnel respectfully.
  • Follow reasonable safety, security, and venue instructions.
  • Respect personal boundaries and requests not to be photographed.
  • Obtain permission before sharing another person’s private information.
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, and disruptive behavior.
  • Avoid persistent sales approaches or unauthorized distribution of promotional materials.

We may intervene or require a participant to leave when reasonably necessary to address misconduct or protect safety.

To report a concern, contact an organizer on site or email hello@synoro.ai.

8. Networking and attendee information

Networking opportunities do not guarantee employment, investment, funding, admissions, customers, partnerships, or other outcomes.

Exchange contact information voluntarily. Do not collect, publish, distribute, or use attendee details for unsolicited marketing without appropriate permission.

You are responsible for evaluating any business, educational, or personal arrangements you make with other attendees.

9. Educational content and speaker views

Event and website content is provided for general education and information.

It does not constitute individualized legal, tax, financial, investment, immigration, or other professional advice. Obtain advice from a qualified professional about your particular circumstances.

Speakers express their own views. Their statements do not necessarily reflect those of Synoro Academy LLC, the venue, sponsors, employers, universities, or government agencies.

References to programs, funding, or resources do not guarantee eligibility, availability, or approval.

10. Institutional references and affiliations

The event is independently organized by Synoro Academy LLC.

Mentioning a university, employer, government agency, or other organization in a speaker biography or event description does not by itself mean that organization sponsors, organizes, or endorses the event.

Using a venue at the University of Chicago does not by itself imply University sponsorship or endorsement.

Speaker participation will be identified as confirmed when announced as such. Teaser content is not a guarantee that a particular individual will attend.

11. Photography and recording

Photography and filming are planned. Additional notices and any required permissions will be provided during registration or at the venue.

These terms alone do not grant us unrestricted permission to use your name, image, or voice in advertising.

Attendees must follow announced recording restrictions and respect requests not to be photographed or recorded. Recording a full session, livestreaming, or conducting a commercial shoot requires organizer approval and any other necessary permissions.

For photography questions, contact hello@synoro.ai before the event.

12. Accessibility and dietary requests

Please contact hello@synoro.ai with accessibility or dietary requests as early as possible.

We will discuss available arrangements with you and coordinate with the venue where appropriate. Please do not submit medical records.

For food allergies, contact us before attending so we can discuss available information and catering limitations.

You may view the website and share links for personal and informational purposes. Other uses may require permission from the relevant rights holder.

Third-party names, trademarks, photographs, and presentation materials remain the property of their respective owners.

  • Impersonate another person.
  • Distribute malicious software or spam.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or application records.
  • Interfere with website operation or other users’ access.

15. Third-party links and services

Our website may link to Google Forms, social media platforms, venue websites, and other external services.

16. Sponsorships and partnerships

Sponsorship inquiries do not create a sponsorship agreement or reserve a package.

Sponsorship benefits, fees, payment terms, brand permissions, and cancellation arrangements must be agreed separately in writing.

Sponsorship does not automatically include access to attendee contact details or application responses.

17. Responsibility and legal rights

We make reasonable efforts to keep event information accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted website access or that all published information will remain unchanged.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through applications, communications, and event activities.

Please review it before submitting personal information.

19. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms and will identify the current version by its effective date.
